His golden brown hair swooped to the left as he peered through his Ray Ban glasses. He had been coding all day while the mood lights sequenced through the colors of the rainbow on his bedroom wall. As he sat uncomfortably on his leg crossed underneath him he answered the last few emails of the day before hitting his vape and ordering delivery.
The apartment he resided in was a mess, but the houseplants were flourishing and outgrowing their pots. He still had a bruise on his forehead from driving off a cliff in the mountains earlier that week after hitting black ice. He walked past his refrigerator covered in pictures of his friendโs weddings and poured a glass of whiskey.
His stealth blue SUV sat in the parking lot 3 stories below his balcony that had his grill and his mountain bike on it. He turned on a marvel movie and rested his legs on his coffee table where his incense burner lived.

“Can I come over”
‘Yes, been waiting for you all day. Gorgeous.’
What did he do in his private time, on all those distant days that she never heard from him? She probably would never know, but she really didn’t care. He kept very busy with his big and extravagant life. Concerts, weddings, work trips, golfing.
